Collapsible workboat

We have developed and manufactured collapsible catamaran workboats for the Norwegian Coastal Administration, to be used for oil rescue operations, etc.

The boats are collapsible to enable them to be transported on trucks on public roads without special permit.

Properties and equipment:

  • Propulsion: Hydraulically powered propellers, can be lifted and lowered hydraulically
  • Built-in hydraulic aggregate
  • Hydraulic crane
  • Foldable mast with floodlights
  • Storage rooms in the side hulls
  • Watertight bulkheads secure sufficient buoyancy in damaged condition
  • Rigid and solid central deck allows mounting of crane and other equipment
  • Bilge pumps in both side hulls
  • Lifting eyes and slings for lifting

The boats can be customized for the customers' needs, both dimensions, design and equipment.
